2025 First Tea Auction at PT KPBN: A New Spirit at the Beginning of the Year

Jakarta – PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (PT KPBN) successfully held the first Tea Auction in 2025. The event took place at PT KPBN's Head Office located on Jl. Cut Meutia No. 11, Menteng, Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. This event was attended by PT KPBN stakeholders involved in the Indonesian Tea Industry.

The event was attended by the Director of Marketing and Asset Management of PT Perkebunan Nusantara I, the Director of Marketing and Commercial of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV, the Director of PT KPBN, the Head of the Jakarta Tea Buyer Association (JTBA), the Regional Head of PTPN I and IV, and several other business partners of PT KPBN.

The first Tea Auction was attended by various Indonesian tea business actors who brought new energy and enthusiasm to the national tea industry. In addition to being a place for transactions, this activity was also used as an important moment for strategic collaboration between industry players in order to advance the tea sector in the homeland.

M Iswan Achir as the Director of PT KPBN in his speech expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the auction participants. "We hope that this momentum can be a good first step to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian tea in the domestic and international markets," he said.

The same thing was also conveyed by Landi Rizaldi Mangaweang as the Director of Marketing and Asset Management of PT Perkebunan Nusantara I who highlighted the importance of synergy between producers and buyers to build a sustainable tea ecosystem. "This auction is not just about transactions, but also about building relationships and designing a brighter future for the tea industry," he explained.

With the opening and presence of important figures, the PT KPBN Tea Auction is expected to be a barometer for the strengthening of the tea sector in Indonesia throughout 2025. This event also became a positive early sign for tea business actors in facing the challenges and opportunities in the new year.
