Holding Perkebunan Nusantara Reshuffles PTPN Board of Directors


"This change is in line with the company's transformation program that is committed to continuing the HR transformation program that is aimed at improving business performance and continuing to transform the work culture," said Dasuki Amsir during the change of the PTPN board of directors at the Office of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara, Jakarta, (11/12/2017). Dasuki also said that the change in the PTPN Board of Directors focuses on improving the company's performance and refreshing the organization to strengthen the effectiveness of the respective companies. He explained that not all of the names of the directors were changed, but some were rotated to a new place for a refresh and to be able to carry out the transformation quickly. Program Turnaround Since May 2016, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara has continued to make improvements by implementing and accelerating the turnaround program to improve the health and improve the performance of the subsidiaries of PTPN I - PTPN XIV. Until October 2017, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara has successfully carried out a turnaround by recording a consolidated net income per October 2017 of Rp 921 billion or a growth of 214% compared to the same period in 2016, which was still a loss of Rp 806 billion. Improved performance due to a number of factors, such as changes in work culture, increased sales, crop productivity, efficiency in reducing the cost of goods sold, and increased commodity prices. "Holding Perkebunan Nusantara was able to record an increase in sales to Rp 28.2 trillion, or a growth of 4.89% compared to the same period in 2016, which was Rp 26.9 trillion, amidst the increase in commodity prices," he explained.
