PRESS RELEASE PT KPBN Has New Captain

Effective Thursday, March 15th 2018, PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN), a subsidiary of PTPN Group, has a new leader. Edward Samantha Ginting Munthe was appointed as the new President Director of KPBN. He fills the vacant position of President Director previously held by Iriana Ekasari for eight months.

“Hopefully, my presence at KPBN can provide a good contribution and fulfill the major stakeholders’ expectations in realizing the company’s vision,” said Edo, Edward Samantha Ginting’s nickname at the handover ceremony at the KPBN Headquarters, Central Jakarta.

Edo said that KPBN will work hard with all employees and KPBN management to meet the company’s revenue target of IDR 1 trillion in 2021.

New Commissioner

In addition to appointing a new President Director, KPBN shareholders also appointed the Director of Marketing of PTPN III (Persero) Perkebunan I Holding, Kadek Kertha Laksana as Commissioner, replacing Bambang Murtioso.

The appointment of Kadek is a form of support from PTPN III (Persero) as the Plantation State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Holding to strengthen the marketing function of PTPN Group commodities.

The following is the composition of the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT KPBN as of March 2018:

KPBN is a subsidiary of PTPN Group engaged in the marketing of plantation commodities. For eight years since its establishment in 2009, KPBN has sold at least 24 million tons of CPO produced by the entire Plantation SOE.
