Managing Director of BPDPKS, Bayu Krisnamurthi, stated that the replanting assistance was given to 200 palm oil farmers partnered with Sinar Mas, who are members of Koperasi Sawit Mandian Jaya, at Rp 10 billion.
"It was just previously given. The amount is the same. Rp 25 million per hectare, covering an area of 400 hectares," said Bayu to Kompas.com, Wednesday (20/4/2016).
The bank involved in the oil palm replanting of Koperasi Sawit Mandian Jaya is BRI Agro.
Bayu explained that Asian Agri and Sinar Mas were chosen as targets for BPDPKS's replanting programas because they met the specified requirements. "They have filed an application and have completed all requirements," said Bayu.
Following these two projects, there are seven other projects currently in their final stage. "Around 20 other projects are in the administrative completion process," said Bayu.
