"As part of the the big family of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, Telkom Group is ready to maximize the role of blanja.com in the UMKM sector," said Telkom CEO Alex J. Sinaga in a press release in Jakarta on Monday.
According to Alex, the synergy between Telkom Group and the state-owned company was carried out in the "BUMN Untuk Negeri" program in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara last week, which was attended by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno.
"The presence of blanja.com as an online display for all UMKM products, fostered by the BUMN, encourages business players to compete on a global level," said Alex.
Therefore, he said that it is necessary for State-Owned Enterprises to synergize to improve the competence and competitiveness of business players, one of which is through the BUMN Creative House.
Meanwhile, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno added that with the blanja.com website, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises hopes that all SOEs can use the same platform to market UMKM products and the products of each BUMN.
Minister Rini also witnessed the agreement between State-owned banks such as Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, and BTN to strengthen blanja.com in terms of payments.
"BUMN banks for the payment sector, PT Pos Indonesia for the logistics sector, and financing from PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM)," Rini said.
Meanwhile, the "BUMN Creative House Program" is a form of initiation by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises to improve the competence of UMKM business actors through guidance and training.
The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises plans to build 514 BUMN Creative House units in regencies/municipalities. In the BUMN Creative House program, the Telkom Group provides support in the form of digital business training through the blanja.com e-commerce platform.
The synergy of BUMNs in digitizing MSMEs through the e-commerce platform blanja.com is a manifestation of the implementation of the vision of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, namely to strengthen the MSME sector as the main driver of the economy to make Indonesia the largest digital economy in ASEAN by 2020.
