Indonesia Still Attractive for Investment
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The International Monetary Fund considers Indonesia is still an attractive investment field for foreign investors. Because the economic growth of Indonesia and some Asian countries are quite good.
Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Asia and Pacific Department Anoop Singh said, strengthening economic growth in Asia is good enough when compared to other countries. But, he warned, that capital flows could be catapulted into the price so the risk of inflation.
Thus, according to Singh, the government should prepare measures to control inflation and limit the risk of increased vulnerability of the financial sector. `We have a lot of things that can still be made considering the strong growth continues to be held in the Asia-Pacific region,` he explained on Thursday (10/21/2010)
