Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that this packet was released to anticipate the developments and competitive ability of the government in the domestic and global economic market. Moreover, the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is just around the corner.
"Because we have to be ready to welcome the AEC and the government is preparing by joining with various things. It is time to change our ways under Pak Darmin's leadership in the Coordinating Ministry of Economy. There will be a policy package that will be submitted," he said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (21/12/2015).
He mentioned that there were three points in the economic policy package. Including the implementation of the one map policy at a national level with a scale of 1:50.000, building energy efficiency through increased development and construction of oil refineries in the country, and thirdly related to national flight incentives for aircraft purchasing service companies.
"This has been prepared by the government. Hopefully this 8th package will further improve our economic competitiveness. It was proven when the Fed raised its interest rates yesterday, our economic resilience improved," he concluded. (akr)
