Agadir, Morocco (AFP) - The global crisis has taken the lives of 30 million jobs worldwide, the International Monetary Fund Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said on Monday, when opening a forum on human development in Morocco
Work should be a priority further globalization, Strauss-Kahn added, as quoted by AFP.
"The world has lost 30 million jobs due to global crisis, and predicted for years and years to come is 400 million," said Strauss-Kahn warned that the International Forum for Human Development, which took place in Agadir in southern Morocco on Monday and Tuesday.
"In the framework of the new globalization, the first priority is jobs, the second priority is jobs and the third priority is the workers," he stated.
More than 1,500 international experts took part in the forum, including the Islamic Development Bank president, Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Ali.
