Press Release--Board of Commissioners and President Director of PT. KPB Nusantara Changed

This change of CEO of PT. KPB Nusantara is made based on the decision of the Shareholder regarding the Dismissal and the Appointment of the Supervisory Board and CEO of PT. KPB Nusantara. Meanwhile, the CEO of PT. KPB Nusantara who is appointed is Ms. Iriana Ekasari, replacing the previous CEO, Mr. Bambang Sudibyo. The handover ceremony was commenced by the process of handing over the Decree by the CEO of PTPN III (Persero) Plantation Holding, Mr. Elia Massa Manik (as a shareholder); and attended by the Board of PTPN III (Persero) and the Supervisory Board (Old & New) and the CEO (Old & New) of PT. KPB Nusantara. On the occasion, the CEO of the Plantation Holding expressed his gratitude for the service provided by Mr. Bambang Sudibyo and congratulated Ms. Iriana Ekasari for her new position. He expected that with this new leadership, PT. KPB Nusantara will be able to innovate better and create new breakthroughs in the plantation sector of Indonesia. The entrance of Ms. Iriana who has a background in the professional world is the new face and challenge for PT. KPB Nusantara. Ms. Iriana has had an extensive career as a professional by leading several large companies, such as Unilever, Bintang Toedjoe, and Heinz ABC. Her experiences in the consumer goods industry made her competent in Brand Strategy Development and Advertising Development, Company Strategic Planning Process and Sales Organization Development. Starting her new assignment, Ms. Iriana is optimistic that she can improve and boost the market of Indonesian plantation BUMN, which is moving toward an industry that is more oriented from business-to-business into business-to-consumer. She expected that PT. KPB Nusantara can be the driving force of the plantation industry in the future. PT. KPB Nusantara is a state-owned enterprise affiliated company which acts as the marketing main commodity of the state, starting its journey in 1968 under the name of the Joint Marketing Office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara (KPB-PTPN) before changing into a legal entity in November 2009. In 2015, PT. KPB Nusantara recorded sales of no less than IDR 26.3 Trillion.
