Cak Imine: 20 SOEs Not Have PKB
Jakarta - The government encourages all State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to improve industrial relations through the signing of the Collective Labor Agreement (CBA) between the management company with the workers.
The reason is, so far from 141 enterprises, 121 SOEs that have signed the new CBA and the 20 companies that have the rule (PP), and there are some 170 trade union or unions.
Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhaimin Iskandar said the state is very strategic position as the most important barometer in the implementation of industrial relations in Indonesia. But apparently not all have a PSA between management and workers.
`In fact lately there are still some SOEs with a bit of a misunderstanding between management and workers, one of which is caused by the emergence of differences in perception in the implementation of the work,` said the man who usually called Cak imine in a press release received detikFinance, Tuesday (19 / 10 / 2010).
He felt sure there was no actual intention of the company's management to ignore the labor provisions in force in their respective state-owned companies. But the lack of information and lack of understanding of the various provisions may result in differences in perception that result in disruption of performance of SOEs.
According to him, the solution of a less harmonious relationship this is by way of open space good communication and intensify negotiations meilbatkan company management and workers.
`SOEs are expected to be a good example in the field of application of labor regulations. Regulations which upholds the fundamental rights of workers, but still able to improve competitiveness and expand its business,` said the man was familiarly called Cak imine.
Currently, the number of SOE workers all over Indonesia of not less than 700,000 employees. those companies engaged in almost all business sectors such as banking, insurance, estate, mining, transportation, agriculture and health.
