PTP Group Benchmark & Mapping Towards the Global Market. BENCHMARK AND MAPPING OF PTPN GROUP TEA CONDITION AND POSITION COMPARED WITH THOSE OF COMPETITIVE AND SUBSTITUTION PRODUCTS IN THE GLOBAL MARKET. In the event, there was a collaboration with export buyers who are members of Jakarta Tea Buyer Association and it was managed by Tea Procurement Division of PT. UNILEVER Indonesia. The event was attended by operational directors of PTPN as tea producers and marketing division heads of each PTPN. In the event, there was a presentation on the condition of competitive (substitution) products of Indonesian tea in export market, from various tea-producing countries. From the short workshop, it is expected that the producers can get a comprehensive and balanced benchmarking and reference in term of price opportunities and quality conditions of competitive teas in the export markets. Therefore, it is expected to provide an objective picture of our current position and anticipation/progress that have to be made if we want to compete and regain the market share of the  bulky tea exports.

PTPN Group Synergy: Insurance Cooperation by Jasindo and Jastan. The socialization is a synergy of PTPN Group Cooperation Agreement on financial services based on insurance between PTPN / Subsidiary Companies with Jasindo and Jasa Tania on May 2, 2019.Socialization activities are divided into 2 sessions: Session 1 (Morning-Afternoon Session) is intended for internal PTPN, Session 2 (Afternoon Session) is intended for internal and PTPN partners / vendors.The opening of the socialization was opened by the Management Representative, Alfender, Corporate Secretary of INACOM, also attended by Management representatives from Jasindo and Jastan. Jasindo and Jasa Tania carry out roadshows in the form of Socialization Regarding Insurance Types to all PTPs, this is to increase the awareness of sellers and buyers about the importance of insurance regarding Transportation Insurance.A series of materials were delivered by Rizky Representative of Jasindo, with socialization materials namely Presentation of Surety Bond / Guarantor along with Application Simulation, Presentation of Liability Insurance including Environmental Liability Insurance / Hazardous Waste Insurance, Presentation of Cargo Insurance / Transportation Insurance.

Plantation BUMN Holds Joint Ceremony for RI's 74th Anniversary. INACOM together with three other companies, namely Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), PT Asuransi Jasa Tania (Jastan), and Dana Pensiun Perkebunan (DAPENBUN) held a Flag Ceremony at Agro Plaza, Jl Rasuna Said, Jakarta (17/08). The ceremony was held with solemnity.The participants and guests of the ceremony had gathered in the lobby of Agro Plaza since the morning. Then they all started to line up. The flag hoisting ceremony was carried out at 07.00 WIB.The ceremony was led by the President Director of DAPENBUN, Edwin Sinaga acting as the ceremony inspector for the 74th Anniversary of the Indonesian Independence. At that occasion, the reading of the Proclamation Text was delivered by Rahmat Akmal, Director of Sales and Operations of INACOM, some employees from INACOM acted as the ceremony protocol and the flag bearers in the 74th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence ceremony.The event was attended by the board of directors of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara, INACOM, Jastan, Dapenbun, and all employees of the four companies. The ceremony went smoothly and was closed with prayers. This joint ceremony was held for the first time and after the ceremony was completed, the Inter-Company Competition was continued.

Palm Biodiesel Absorption Reaches 3.29 Million Tons in Semester I-2019. “These numbers show that the B20 mandatory program is running well in PSO and non-PSO,” Mukti said in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT.
So far the government is still expected to accelerate the B30 mandate for which road trials are currently underway. The government is also encouraged to expand the use of palm oil directly for PLN power plants.
“If all domestic absorption programs run well then Indonesia’s dependency on the global market can be reduced,” Mukti said.
Meanwhile price-wise, during the first half of 2019 the global CPO price ranged from US$492.5 - US$567.5 per metric ton with an average price in the region of US$501.5 - US$556.5 per metric ton.
In June palm oil production showed a 16% downward trend compared to May, from 4.73 million tons in May to 3.98 million tons in June. Meanwhile Indonesian palm oil stocks in June remained at moderate levels of 3.55 million tons. (T2)
